SHABITHA
Writer and journalist. Has authored the novels Gitanjali and Arundhakkani, and her published short story collections include Molappaambu and Mandakrantha Mabhanathathagam. Her work in children's literature includes the book Appuvinte Guppikal, and she also served as the editor for the collection Ammayormakal. In addition to her original writing, she has translated three books consisting of the memoirs and stories of Sudha Murty. Her creative talent extends to cinema as well, having written the story and screenplay for the award-winning film Pullu. In the field of journalism, she is a distinguished professional who has won the prestigious Ramnath Goenka Excellence in Journalism Award twice consecutively for her investigative reporting. Furthermore, she was honored with the State Youth Icon Award (2021) for her excellence in literature.
