K SACHIDANANDAN
An internationally known poet and writer. Currently the President of the Kerala Sahitya Akademi. Former Secretary of the Sahitya Akademi (National Academy of Letters). His major works include Anchusooryan, Ezhuthachan Ezhuthumbol, Socratesum Kozhiyum, Vithum Vrikshavum, Sachidanandaninte Kavithakal and many others. Recipient of the Ulloor Award, Sahitya Akademi Award (national), Odakkuzhal Award, Kerala Sahitya Akademi Award, Ezhuthachan Award and numerous honours.
അന്താരാഷ്ട്ര പ്രശസ്തനായ കവിയും എഴുത്തുകാരനും. നിലവില് കേരളസാഹിത്യ അക്കാദമിയുടെ പ്രസിഡന്റ്. കേന്ദ്ര സാഹിത്യ അക്കാദമിയുടെ സെക്രട്ടറിയായും പ്രവര്ത്തിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ട്. അഞ്ചുസൂര്യന്, എഴുത്തച്ഛന് എഴുതുമ്പോള്, സോക്രട്ടീസും കോഴിയും, വിത്തും വൃക്ഷവും, സച്ചിദാനന്ദന്റെ കവിതകള് തുടങ്ങിയവ നിരവധി കൃതികള്. മഹാകവി ഉള്ളൂര് പുരസ്കാരം, കേന്ദ്ര സാഹിത്യ അക്കാദമി അവാര്ഡ്, ഓടക്കുഴല് പുരസ്കാരം, കേരള സാഹിത്യ അക്കാദമി പുരസ്കാരം, എഴുത്തച്ഛന് പുരസ്കാരം തുടങ്ങിയ ഒട്ടേറെ അംഗീകാരങ്ങള് ലഭിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ട്.
