JAGMOHAN SINGH
Prof Jagmohan Singh is a distinguished academic, engineer and social activist deeply connected to India’s revolutionary legacy. Born in 1944, he is the nephew of freedom fighter Bhagat Singh and has been actively involved in preserving and disseminating revolutionary history for over six decades. A former professor at Punjab Agricultural University, he pioneered computer education and agricultural electronics applications in Punjab. He has edited and published the complete works of Bhagat Singh and related historical texts, manages key archival websites, and leads institutions dedicated to rural education, creativity and democratic rights. He continues to work on issues of rural crisis, education and social justice.
ഭാരതത്തിന്റെ വിപ്ലവ ചരിത്രവുമായി ആഴത്തില് ബന്ധമുള്ള പ്രമുഖ അക്കാദമിക് പണ്ഡിതനും എന്ജിനീയറും സാമൂഹിക പ്രവര്ത്തകനുമാണ് പ്രൊഫ. ജഗ്മോഹന് സിംഗ്. 1944-ല് ജനിച്ച അദ്ദേഹം വിപ്ലവകാരി ഭഗത് സിംഗിന്റെ സഹോദരീപുത്രനാണ്. പഞ്ചാബ് അഗ്രികള്ച്ചറല് യൂണിവേഴ്സിറ്റിയിലെ മുന് പ്രൊഫസറായ അദ്ദേഹം പഞ്ചാബില് കമ്പ്യൂട്ടര് വിദ്യാഭ്യാസത്തിനും കാര്ഷിക മേഖലയിലെ ഇലക്ട്രോണിക്സ് ഉപയോഗത്തിനും തുടക്കം കുറിച്ചവരില് ഒരാളാണ്. ഭഗത് സിംഗിന്റെ സമ്പൂര്ണ്ണ കൃതികളും വിപ്ലവ ചരിത്രരേഖകളും എഡിറ്റ് ചെയ്ത് പ്രസിദ്ധീകരിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ട്. ഗ്രാമീണ വിദ്യാഭ്യാസം, ജനാധിപത്യ അവകാശങ്ങള്, സാമൂഹിക നീതി എന്നിവയ്ക്ക് വേണ്ടി പ്രവര്ത്തിക്കുന്ന നിരവധി സ്ഥാപനങ്ങളുടെ നേതൃസ്ഥാനത്ത് അദ്ദേഹം ഇന്നും സജീവമാണ്.
