BINOY VISWAM
Binoy Viswam is a prominent leader of the Communist Party of India (CPI) and a well-known writer, currently serving as the State Secretary of the party. He is a member of the Party Central Secretariat and holds the positions of Editor of the New Age weekly and All India Working President of the AITUC. He previously served as the Minister for Forests and Environment in the Government of Kerala. During his tenure in the State Legislative Assembly, he represented the Nadapuram constituency, winning the seat twice. He has also served one term as a Member of the Rajya Sabha. His political journey began through the All India Students' Federation (AISF), where he rose to the positions of State President and All India Secretary. He has also served as the State Vice President of the AIYF and Vice President of the World Federation of Democratic Youth. Additionally, he has been a member of the Kerala Agricultural University Senate and a board member of the KTDC.
സിപിഐ നേതാവ്, എഴുത്തുകാരന്. നിലവില് സംസ്ഥാന സെക്രട്ടറി. മുന്മന്ത്രിയും മുന് എംപിയുമാണ്. പാര്ട്ടി സെന്ട്രല് സെക്രട്ടേറിയറ്റംഗമാണ്. ന്യൂ ഏജ് വാരികയുടെ പത്രാധിപരും എഐടിയുസി അഖിലേന്ത്യാ വര്ക്കിങ് പ്രസിഡന്റുമാണ്. നേരത്തെ സംസ്ഥാന വനം, പരിസ്ഥിതി വകുപ്പ് മന്ത്രിയായിരുന്നു നാദാപുരം മണ്ഡലത്തെയാണ് നിയമസഭയില് പ്രതിനിധീകരിച്ചത്. രണ്ട് തവണ നാദാപുരത്ത് നിന്ന് ജയിച്ചു. ഒരു തവണ രാജ്യസഭാംഗവുമായി. എഐഎസ്എഫിലൂടെയായിരുന്നു രാഷ്ട്രീയ പ്രവേശനം. സംസ്ഥാന പ്രസിഡന്റും അഖിലേന്ത്യാ സെക്രട്ടറിയുമായി. എഐവൈഎഫ് സംസ്ഥാന വൈസ് പ്രസിഡന്റായും വേള്ഡ് ഫെഡറേഷന് ഓഫ് ഡെമോക്രാറ്റിക് യൂത്ത് വൈസ് പ്രസിഡന്റായും പ്രവര്ത്തിച്ചു. കേരള കാര്ഷിക സര്വകലാശാല സെനറ്റംഗം, കെടിഡിസി ഡയറക്ടര് ബോര്ഡംഗം എന്നീ നിലകളില് പ്രവര്ത്തിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ട്.
