B RAJEEVAN
Noted thinker and literary critic. He was subjected to police torture and was under house arrest during the Emergency in 1975. He has been writing articles on topics like philosophy, aesthetics, history, political science, movie and poetry since 1969. Jananibidamaya Danthagopuram, Varthamanathinte Charithram, Vakkukalum Vasthukkalum, EMS-nte Swapnam etc. are his major literary works. He has won Kerala Sahitya Akademi Award, Kerala Library Council Award etc..
പ്രമുഖ ചിന്തകനും സാഹിത്യനിരൂപകനുമാണ് ബി. രാജീവന്. അടിയന്തരാവസ്ഥക്കാലത്ത് പോലീസ് മർദനത്തിന് ഇരയായി. വീട്ടുതടങ്കലിൽ കഴിഞ്ഞു. 1969 മുതല് തത്ത്വശാസ്ത്രം, സൗന്ദര്യശാസ്ത്രം, ചരിത്രം, രാഷ്ട്രീയചിന്ത, സിനിമ, കവിത തുടങ്ങിയ വിഷയങ്ങളെക്കുറിച്ച് പ്രബന്ധങ്ങള് എഴുതുന്നു.‘ജനനിബിഡമായ ദന്തഗോപുരം’, ‘വര്ത്തമാനത്തിന്റെ ചരിത്രം’, ‘വാക്കുകളും വസ്തുക്കളും’, ‘ഇ.എം.എസിന്റെ സ്വപ്നം’ എന്നിവ പ്രധാനകൃതികള്. കേരള സാഹിത്യ അക്കാദമി പുരസ്കാരം ഉള്പ്പെടെയുള്ള പുരസ്കാരങ്ങള് ലഭിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ട്.
