AKHIL SATHYAN
Akhil Sathyan is an Indian film director, writer, and editor working primarily in the Malayalam film industry. He is known as the son of veteran filmmaker Sathyan Anthikad and the twin brother of director Anoop Sathyan. He made his directorial debut with Pachuvum Athbutha Vilakkum (2023), followed by the Nivin Pauly–starrer romantic fantasy film Sarvam Maya. Deeply influenced by Mani Ratnam and shaped by years of observing his father’s filmmaking process, Akhil focuses on crafting feel-good, emotionally grounded stories infused with humour and simplicity, often set in unique premises.
ചലച്ചിത്ര സംവിധായകനും തിരക്കഥാകൃത്തും എഡിറ്ററും. പ്രമുഖ സംവിധായകൻ സത്യൻ അന്തിക്കാടിന്റെ മകനും സംവിധായകൻ അനൂപ് സത്യന്റെ ഇരട്ട സഹോദരനുമാണ്. 'പാച്ചുവും അത്ഭുത വിളക്കും' എന്ന സിനിമയിലൂടെ സംവിധായകനായി അരങ്ങേറ്റം കുറിച്ചു. തുടര്ന്ന് നിവിന് പോളി അഭിനയിച്ച 'സര്വം മായ' സംവിധാനം ചെയ്തു.
