Sunnykutty Abraham
Veteran journalist, political analyst, writer and TV anchor. A native of Ranni, Sunnykutty Abraham worked in Mathrubhumi daily for 25 years. He was the chief of news bureau. He worked as Chief Editor and Chief Operating Officer for five years.
He anchored several TV shows like Nerkkuner, Pathravisesham and Oppam Nadannu. As he was engaged in parliamentary reporting for long, he penned a book titled ‘Sabhathalam: Nammude Niyama Nirmana Sabhakal’.
മുതിര്‍ന്ന പത്രപ്രവര്‍ത്തകനും രാഷ്ട്രീയ നിരീക്ഷകനും എഴുത്തുകാരനും ടെലിവിഷന്‍ അവതാരകനും. പത്തനംതിട്ടയിലെ റാന്നി സ്വദേശി. മാതൃഭൂമി ദിനപത്രത്തില്‍ 25 വര്‍ഷത്തോളം പ്രവര്‍ത്തിച്ചു. ന്യൂസ് ബ്യൂറോ തലവനായിരുന്നു. ജയ്ഹിന്ദ് ടിവിയില്‍ ചീഫ് എഡിറ്റര്‍, ചീഫ് ഓപ്പറേറ്റിങ് ഓഫീസര്‍ തസ്തികകളില്‍ 5 വര്‍ഷത്തോളവും പ്രവര്‍ത്തിച്ചു. നേര്‍ക്കുനേര്‍, പത്രവിശേഷം, ഒപ്പം നടന്ന് തുടങ്ങിയ പരിപാടികള്‍ ന്യൂസ്ചാനലുകളില്‍ അവതരിപ്പിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ട്. ലൈവ് ടെലിവിഷന്‍ പുരസ്‌കാരം ലഭിച്ചു. ദീര്‍ഘകാലം നിയമസഭ റിപ്പോര്‍ട്ട് ചെയ്തിട്ടുള്ള സണ്ണിക്കുട്ടി ഇന്ത്യന്‍ നിയമനിര്‍മാണസഭാപ്രവര്‍ത്തനം വിവരിക്കുന്ന 'സഭാതലം: നമ്മുടെ നിയമ നിര്‍മ്മാണ സഭകള്‍' എന്ന പുസ്തകത്തിന്റെ രചയിതാവാണ്.
