Sunetra Choudhury has 20 years of experience in journalism with 17 of them in Broadcast. Her career has been spent in New Delhi Television (NDTV) and The Indian Express. She is the Political Editor and senior anchor with NDTV since 2003.

She was the deputy chief reporter with the Indian Express news team during 1999-2002. She has awarded with Jefferson Fellow 2018, Winner of Mary Morgan Hewett Award 2018, Winner Red Ink award for health reporting 2016, and Thomson Reuters fellowship at Cardiff University, UK 2008.

Choudhury is the author of two bestselling books Braking News (Hachette,2010), a political travelogue on the 2009 general elections and Behind Bars: Prison Tales of India’s Most Famous (Roli, 2017) which has been translated to Hindi, Marathi and Telegu edition. She is currently working on her third book.
