Engineer and environmentalist. Sridhar Radhakrishnan resigned from Government service in 1997 and became a full-time environmentalist. He was closely associated with many campaigns like the industrial pollution issues in Eloor-Edayar and the anti-Endosulfan struggle in Kasaragod.

Presently, he functions as Coordinator of the Save our Rice Campaign, a national movement towards building a sustainable way for food security in India. He is director of Thanal, a well-known environmental organisation in Kerala, and founder and co-coordinator of Kerala Paristhithi Aikya Vedhi.

His major works are ‘Grasim Since 1963 – A Burden on Our Heads’ and ‘Cleaning Up Kerala – A Synthesis of Studies on Municipal Solid Waste Management in Kerala’. He is also the co-author of the publication ‘A Green Print for Sustainable Kerala – Lessons for Existence’.
