Sitara Krishnakumar
Sithara Krishnakumar is an Indian playback singer, composer, lyricist, classical dancer and occasional actor. She is a well-known singer who is trained in Hindustani and Carnatic classical music traditions and is also a recognised ghazal singer. She travels extensively and has performed in concerts and stage shows across the world. Folk and fusion are her other areas of interest. She made a cameo appearance in the Malayalam film 'Ganagandharvan'. She has won honours such as 'Best Female Playback Singer in Malayalam', 'Baburaj Memorial Award', 'Mohammed Rafi Memorial Award' and 'Movie Street Film Awards'.
മലയാളത്തിലെ ശ്രദ്ധേയയായ ഗായിക. 1986 ജൂലൈ 1 ന് മലപ്പുറത്ത് ജനനം. മലയാളം, തമിഴ് , തെലുങ്ക് തുടങ്ങിയ ഭാഷകളില്‍ നിരവധി ഗാനങ്ങള്‍ ആലപിച്ച സിതാര ഇന്ത്യന്‍ സിനിമാഗാനരംഗത്തെ സജീവ മലയാളി സാന്നിദ്ധ്യമാണ്. സെല്ലുലോയ്ഡ് എന്ന ചിത്രത്തിലെ ഗാനാലാപനത്തിന് പിന്നണിഗായികയ്ക്കുള്ള 2012 ലെ സംസ്ഥാന ചലച്ചിത്രപുരസ്‌കാരം, വിമാനം എന്ന ചിത്രത്തിലെ ഗാനാലാപനത്തിന് മികച്ച പിന്നണിഗായികയ്ക്കുള്ള 2017- ലെ കേരളസംസ്ഥാന ചലച്ചിത്രപുരസ്‌കാരം തുടങ്ങി നിരവധി ബഹുമതികള്‍ ലഭിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ട്.
