Sabin Iqbal

Sabin Iqbal is a senior journalist who has worked in India and the Middle East. He was the editorial director of Kochi-Muziris Biennale, senior editor at Tehelka and senior assistant editor at Business India. He is now the festival director and co-curator of Mathrubhumi International Festival of Letters (MIFL). His debut novel, The Cliffhangers (Aleph, 2019) was Shortlisted for The Best First Book Award at TATA Lit Fest. The second, Shamal Days (HarperCollins, 2020) is a critically acclaimed cosmopolitan novel set in the Middle East.
