R S Babu is the chairman of Kerala Media Academy. He had worked as consultant editor of Deshabhimani. He has served as acting general secretary of Kerala Union of Working Journalists and secretary of Kesari Memorial Journalist Trust.
He is the recipient of awards such as Sivaram Award, state government’s award, Media trust Award and I V Devadas Award.
