Prakash Javadekar

Prakash Javadekar is an Indian politician who served as the Minister of Environment, Forest and Climate Change. He was elected to the upper house of Rajya Sabha as a Member of Parliament from Maharashtra in 2008 and re-elected from Madhya Pradesh in 2014. He starts his political career through ABVP and participated in student movements against the government during the Emergency period. He is also a veteran spokesperson of the Bharatiya Janata Party. Some notable publications include 'Bekaricha Jwalamukhi', 'Shetkaryanchi Karzmukti' and 'Mahagaicha Bhasmasoor'.
