Pazhani Swami
Pazhani Swami is one of the master performers in the Irula dance of the Irula tribal community and an actor in the Malayalam movie industry. He is the leader of Azad Kala Sangham, a prominent troupe from Attappadi which performs the Irula dance of the tribal community of Kerala. 'Pazhassi Raja', 'Bhagyadevatha', 'Ayyappanum Koshiyum' and Poombattakalude Thazhvaram are some of his films. He gets the Kerala Chief Minister's 'Distinguished Service Award' in 2018 as a worker in the Kerala Forest and Wildlife Department and received the 'Young Pratibha Folklore Award' from the Kerala Folklore Academy.
ഇരുള നൃത്ത കലാകാരനും നടനും. അയ്യപ്പനും കോശിയും എന്ന സിനിമയിലെ എക്സൈസ് ഇന്‍സ്പെക്ടര്‍ ഫൈസല്‍ എന്ന കഥാപാത്രം ശ്രദ്ധേയമായി. ഇരുള ഗോത്രവര്‍ഗ സമൂഹത്തിന്റെ കലയായ ഇരുള നൃത്തം അവതരിപ്പിക്കുന്ന അട്ടപ്പാടിയിലെ ആസാദ് കലാ സംഘത്തെ നയിക്കുന്നത് പഴനിസാമിയാണ്. ആസാദ് കലാ സംഘത്തിലെ കലാകാരിയായ നഞ്ചിയമ്മ പാടിയ അയ്യപ്പനും കോശിയും എന്ന മലയാള ചിത്രത്തിലെ കലക്കാത്ത എന്ന് തുടങ്ങുന്ന ടൈറ്റില്‍ ഗാനം വളരെ അധികം ശ്രദ്ധിക്കപ്പെട്ടിരുന്നു.
