Natalia Malek is a Polish poet, literature curator and translator. She published five collections of poetry and received the 2021 Gdynia Literary Prize and the 2018 Adam Włodek Literary Prize; all major awards in Poland. Her longstanding interest in the intersections of poetry and visual arts is reflected in both the way she writes and the way her books are designed. Her work is referred to as experimental and post-linguistic. She is the curator of Spoken Word Festival Warsaw and Poems in the City Warsaw, international festivals experimenting with literary presentation formats. Her recent interests include animal studies and the intersections of poetry and life sciences.
