Khadija Abdalla Bajaber is a Kenyan poet, fiction writer and editor. She writes about the ill- documented Hadrami diaspora, an ethnic group in Saudi Arabia. Her book titled ‘The House of Rust’ was the winner of the inaugural Graywolf Press Africa Prize. The House of Rust also won the Ursula K. Le Guin Prize for Fiction. She writes for Enkare Review, A Long House, Lolwe, Down River Road, and other publications.
