Joy Vazhayil
Joy Vazhayil is a Civil servant, poet, writer and Researcher. He is from the 1987 batch of the Indian Administrative Service. He is the Chief Secretary of Kerala. He has published twelve poetic works and two novels. Some of his notable publications are 'Salabhayaanam', 'Arivaazham', 'Pravachakan' and 'Malayala Gazal'. He has received several awards including 'S. K. Pottekkatt Award', 'Akshaya Literary Award' and 'Pazhassi Raja Sahityapratibha Puraskaram'.
കവിയും എഴുത്തുകാരനും ഗവേഷകനും. എറണാകുളം ജില്ലയില്‍ ജനനം. രാമാനുതപം ഉള്‍പ്പെടെ മലയാളത്തില്‍ പന്ത്രണ്ട് കാവ്യ കൃതികളും രണ്ട് നോവലുകളും പ്രസിദ്ധീകരിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ട്. വി.പി. ജോയ് എന്നറിയപ്പെടുന്ന ജോയ് വാഴയില്‍ 2021 മുതല്‍ കേരള സംസ്ഥാന ചീഫ് സെക്രട്ടറിയായി ചുമതല വഹിക്കുന്നു. ഇന്ത്യന്‍ അഡ്മിനിസ്‌ട്രേറ്റീവ് സര്‍വീസിലെ 1987 ബാച്ചില്‍ നിന്നുള്ളയാളാണ്. എസ്.കെ പൊറ്റെക്കാട്ട് അവാര്‍ഡ്, അക്ഷയ സാഹിത്യ പുരസ്‌കാരം, പഴശ്ശിരാജ സാഹിത്യപ്രതിഭാ പുരസ്‌കാരം തുടങ്ങിയ പുരസ്‌കാരങ്ങള്‍ ലഭിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ട്.
