I Shanmugha Das
I. Shanmughadas is a Writer, teacher and film critic from Kerala. He actively participates in film society movements and activities. In the latter half of the 1970s, he started writing articles on cinema. Some of his notable publications are 'Malakalil Manju Peyyunnu', 'Cinemayude Vazhiyil', 'Aaranu Buddhanallaathathu' and 'Godard: Colaykkum Marxinum Naduvil'. He is the recipient of the Kerala Sahitya Akademi award and Satyajit Ray Memorial Award
എഴുത്തുകാരനും അധ്യാപകനും ചലച്ചിത്രനിരൂപകനും. മലകളില്‍ മഞ്ഞ് പെയ്യുന്നു, സിനിമയുടെ വഴിയില്‍, സഞ്ചാരിയുടെ വീട്, ആരാണ് ബുദ്ധനല്ലാത്തത്, ഗൊദാര്‍ദ് : കോളയ്ക്കും മാര്‍ക്‌സിനും നടുവില്‍ തുടങ്ങിയവയാണ് പ്രധാന രചനകള്‍. മികച്ച ചലച്ചിത്രനിരൂപകനുള്ള ദേശീയ അവാര്‍ഡ്, മികച്ച ചലച്ചിത്ര ഗ്രന്ഥത്തിനുള്ള സംസ്ഥാന ചലച്ചിത്രപുരസ്‌കാരം, മികച്ച ചലച്ചിത്രസംബന്ധിയായ ലേഖനത്തിനുള്ള സംസ്ഥാന പുരസ്‌കാരം, സാഹിത്യ നിരൂപണ ഗ്രന്ഥത്തിനുള്ള കേരള സാഹിത്യ അക്കാദമിയുടെ വിലാസിനി പുരസ്‌കാരം തുടങ്ങി നിരവധി ബഹുമതികള്‍ ലഭിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ട്.
