Hameed Chennamangaloor
Hameed Chennamangaloor is a Writer, social critic and speaker from Kerala who takes a strong stance against minority-majority communalism. He was the Head of the English Department at Government Arts and Science College, Kozhikode. 'Deivathinte rashtriyam', ‘Marxism, Islamism, Secularism’, ' Beegarathayude dhaivashasthram' and ' Oru Indian Musliminte sothanthra chindhakal' are some of his major publications. He has received honors like Kerala Sahitya Akademi Award and Indian Youth Association Award.
എഴുത്തുകാരനും സാമൂഹിക വിമര്‍ശകനും പ്രഭാഷകനും. ന്യൂനപക്ഷ-ഭൂരിപക്ഷ വര്‍ഗീയതയ്ക്ക് എതിരെ ശത്മായ നിലപാടുകളെടുക്കുന്ന സാമൂഹിക വിമര്‍ശകന്‍. 1948-ല്‍ ചേന്ദമംഗലൂരില്‍ ജനനം. കോഴിക്കോട് ഗവണ്മെന്റ് ആര്‍ട്‌സ് ആന്‍ഡ് സയന്‍സ്കോ ളേജില്‍ ഇംഗ്ലീഷ് വിഭാഗം മേധാവി ആയിരുന്നു. 'ഏകീകൃത സിവില്‍ കോഡ്: അകവും പുറവും.', ' വേണം വിയോജന ശബ്ദം', ' മുസ്ലിം വിയോജന ശബ്ദത്തിന്റെ വേരുകള്‍', ' അധിനിവേശത്തിന്റെ അറേബ്യന്‍ മുഖങ്ങള്‍' , ' ദൈവത്തിന്റെ രാഷ്ട്രീയം', ' മതം, രാഷ്ട്രീയം, ജനാധിപത്യം' തുടങ്ങിയ നിരവധി കൃതികള്‍. ഇന്ത്യന്‍ യൂത്ത്അ സോസിയേഷന്‍ പുരസ്‌കാരം, കേരള സാഹിത്യ അക്കാദമി എന്‍ഡോവ്‌മെന്റ് പുരസ്‌കാരം തുടങ്ങി നിരവധി ബഹുമതികള്‍ ലഭിച്ചു.
