N P Hafiz Mohamad
N P Hafiz Mohamad is an author and sociologist from Kerala. He is a professor in the Department of Sociology at Farooq College. Some of his notable publications include 'Poovum Pazhavum', 'Prenayasancharathil' and 'Muhammad Abdu Rahman'. He is the recipient of the MM Gani Award, Kerala State Children's Literature award and Kerala Sahitya Akademi's award.
എഴുത്തുകാരനും സാമൂഹ്യശാസ്ത്രകാരനും.1956-ല്‍ കോഴിക്കോട് ജനനം. കോഴിക്കോട് ഫാറൂഖ് കോളേജില്‍ സോഷ്യോളജി വിഭാഗത്തില്‍ അദ്ധ്യാപകനായിരുന്നു. പൂവും പുഴയും, പ്രണയസഞ്ചാരത്തില്‍, തള്ളക്കുരങ്ങും പുള്ളിപ്പുലിയും, എസ്പതിനായിരം, മുഹമ്മദ് അബ്ദുറഹ്മാന്‍, നീലത്തടാകത്തിലെ നിധി തുടങ്ങിവയാണ് പ്രധാന കൃതികള്‍. ഏറ്റവും മികച്ച അദ്ധ്യാപകനുള്ള എം.എം. ഗനി അവാര്‍ഡിനര്‍ഹനായ ഇദ്ദേഹത്തിനു കേരള സംസ്ഥാന ബാലസാഹിത്യ ഇന്‍സ്റ്റിറ്റ്യൂട്ടിന്റെ പുരസ്‌കാരം കേരളസാഹിത്യ അക്കാദമിയുടെ പുരസ്‌കാരം തുടങ്ങിയ ബഹുമതികള്‍ ലഭിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ട്.
