Dhanya Rajendran
Dhanya Rajendran is an Indian journalist and the co-founder and editor-in-chief of The News Minute. She started her career in India Vision, then moved to New Indian Express in Chennai, and then to Times Now. She has come out against sensationalism in news media by reflecting upon her own experiences as a journalist. She has been vocal about online harassment faced by women journalists on the field and also come out in support of women sharing their stories during the Me too movement in India by consistently featuring several stories about the issue. She was named one of India’s best entrepreneurs in Fortune magazine’s 40 under 40 lists.
ഇന്ത്യൻ പത്രപ്രവർത്തകയും ദി ന്യൂസ് മിനിറ്റിന്റെ സഹസ്ഥാപകയും എഡിറ്റർ ഇൻ ചീഫുമാണ് ധന്യ രാജേന്ദ്രൻ. ടൈംസ് നൗ, ദി ന്യൂ ഇന്ത്യൻ എക്സ്പ്രസ് എന്നിവയിൽ പ്രവർത്തിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ട്. 2003-ൽ കേരളത്തിലെ ആദ്യത്തെ 24 മണിക്കൂർ വാർത്താചാനൽ ആയ ഇന്ത്യാ വിഷനിൽ ജോലി ചെയ്തുകൊണ്ടാണ് കരിയർ ആരംഭിക്കുന്നത്. 2004-ൽ ചെന്നൈയിലെ ന്യൂ ഇന്ത്യൻ എക്‌സ്പ്രസിലേക്കും തുടർന്ന് 2005-ൽ ടൈംസ് നൗവിൽലേക്കും മാറുകയുണ്ടായി. ദക്ഷിണേന്ത്യയുടെ ബ്യൂറോ ചീഫായി മാറുകയും ചെയ്തു. നെറ്റ്‌വർക്ക് ഫോർ വിമൻ ഇൻ മീഡിയ, ഇന്ത്യയിലും അംഗമാണ്. അവർ തന്റെ കരിയറിൽ നിരവധി പുരസ്കാരങ്ങൾ നേടിയിട്ടുണ്ട്. 2018-ലെ ഫോർച്യൂൺ മാസികയുടെ 40 അണ്ടർ 40 ലിസ്റ്റിൽ ഇന്ത്യയിലെ ഏറ്റവും മികച്ച സംരംഭകരിൽ ഒരാളായി അവർ തിരഞ്ഞെടുക്കപ്പെട്ടുകയും മാധ്യമ പ്രവർത്തകയ്ക്കുള്ള 2017-ലെ നമ്മ ബംഗളൂരു പുരസ്കാരവും ലഭിച്ചു.
