Dariusz Sośnicki
Dariusz Sośnicki is a poet, translator, editor in leading Polish publishing houses. He was the editor-in-chief of the prestigious Ossolineum Publishing House. Marlewo (1994) was recognized as the best poetry debut in Poland. In 2001 he participated in the International Writing Program at the University of Iowa. In 2014 he was a scholarship holder of the Internationales Haus der Autorinnen und Autoren in Graz. His subsequent collections of poems were nominated for the most important Polish literary awards. He translated, among others poems by W. H. Auden.
കവിയും വിവർത്തകനും പ്രമുഖ പോളിഷ് പ്രസിദ്ധീകരണശാലകളിലെ എഡിറ്ററുമാണ് ഡാരിയസ് സോസ്നിക്കി. പ്രസിദ്ധമായ ഓസോളിനിയം ( Ossolineum )പബ്ലിഷിംഗ് ഹൗസിന്റെ ചീഫ് എഡിറ്ററായിരുന്നു ഇദ്ദേഹം. 2001-ൽ അദ്ദേഹം അയോവ സർവകലാശാലയിലെ ഇന്റർനാഷണൽ റൈറ്റിംഗ് പ്രോഗ്രാമിൽ പങ്കെടുത്ത സോസ്നിക്കി 2014-ൽ ഗ്രാസിലെ ഇന്റർനാഷണൽസ് ഹൗസ് ഡെർ ഓട്ടോറിനൻ ആൻഡ് ഓട്ടോറൻ ഇൻ ഗ്രാസ് എന്ന സ്‌കോളർഷിപ്പ് നേടി. അദ്ദേഹത്തിന്റെ കവിതാസമാഹാരങ്ങൾ പ്രധാനപ്പെട്ട പോളിഷ് സാഹിത്യ അവാർഡുകൾക്ക് നാമനിർദ്ദേശം ചെയ്യപ്പെട്ടിട്ടുണ്ട്. ഡബ്ല്യൂ.എച്ച് എയ്ഡൻ്റെ കവിതകൾ വിവർത്തനം ചെയ്തിട്ടുണ്ട്.
