Bahuleyan Jeyamohan
Bahuleyan Jeyamohan is an Indian Tamil and Malayalam language writer and literary critic. His best-known and most critically acclaimed work is Vishnupuram, a fantasy setting as a quest through various schools of Indian philosophy and mythology. Jeyamohan's output includes nine novels, ten volumes of short stories/plays, thirteen literary criticisms, five biographies of writers, six introductions to Indian and Western literature, three volumes on Hindu and Christian philosophy and numerous other translations and collections. He has also written scripts for Malayalam and Tamil movies. Some of his notable publications include Rubber, Pin Thodarum Nizhalin Kural, Kanyakumari, Kaadu and Pani Manidhan.
തമിഴിലെ മലയാളത്തിലെയും ശ്രദ്ധേയനായ എഴുത്തുകാരന്‍. 1962 ഏപ്രില്‍ 22-ന് കന്യാകുമാരി ജില്ലയിലെ തിരുവരമ്പില്‍ ജനനം. നൂറ് സിംഹാസനങ്ങള്‍, ഉറവിടങ്ങള്‍, മിണ്ടാച്ചെന്നായ്, ആനഡോക്ടര്‍ , വിഷ്ണുപുരാണം, പിന്‍ തൊടരും നിഴലിന്‍ കുറല്‍, കൊറ്റവൈ,കാട്, നവീന തമിഴ് ഇലക്കിയ അറിമുഖം തുടങ്ങിയവ അദ്ദേഹത്തിന്റെ പ്രധാന രചനകളാണ്. തമിഴിലും മലയാളത്തിലും കന്നഡയിലുമായി അമ്പതിലധികം സിനിമകള്‍ക്ക് തിരക്കഥയും സംഭാഷണവുമൊരുക്കിയിട്ടുണ്ട്. വെന്ത് തണിന്തത് കാട്, പൊന്ന്യം സെല്‍വന്‍ 1, നാന്‍ കടവുള്‍, വിടുതലൈ തുടങ്ങിയവ ജയമോഹന്‍ രചന നിര്‍വ്വഹിച്ച സിനിമകളാണ്. തമിഴ്, മലയാളം, കന്നട തുടങ്ങിയ ഭാഷാചലച്ചിത്രങ്ങളക്കായി സംഭാഷണ രചന നിര്‍വ്വഹിച്ചു. അഖിലന്‍ സ്മൃതി പുരസ്‌കാരം, കഥാ സമ്മാന്‍, സംസ്‌കൃതി സമ്മാന്‍ എന്നീ പുരസ്‌കാരങ്ങള്‍ ലഭിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ട്.
