Anindita Ghose

Anindita Ghose is a writer and journalist from Mumbai. Her debut novel The Illuminated is published by HarperCollins India and has featured on best fiction lists by The Telegraph, The Times of India, Vogue and GQ among others. It was published internationally by Bloomsbury in January 2023.
The Independent has picked Anindita as one of their nine best upcoming authors from India. Anindita was most recently the editor of Mint Lounge, and previously the Features Director of Vogue India. She has a master’s degree in linguistics from the University of Mumbai and a master’s in arts & culture journalism from Columbia University. In 2019, she was a Hawthornden Writing Fellow.
