Alankode Leelakrishnan
Hailing from Alankode village near Ponnani, the poet, writer, and orator is a graduate of Economics from EMS college, Ponnani. ‘Nilayude Theerangalilude', a cultural survey of Kerala's largest river, Bharathapuzha, was made into a documentary by the national broadcaster, Doordarshan. He has penned the story, screenplay, and songs for a few Malayalam movies including ‘Ekantham’ Works include ‘Valluvanadan Poorakazhchakal’, ‘P.yude Pranaya Paapangal’ and ‘Thathrikkuttiyude Smarthavichaaram’.
പ്രശസ്ത കവിയും എഴുത്തുകാരനും. 1960-ല്‍ പൊന്നാനി താലൂക്കിലെ ആലങ്കോട് ഗ്രാമത്തില്‍ ജനനം. സാമൂഹികപ്രസക്തവും നാടിന്റെ സ്പന്ദനം തുടിക്കുന്നതുമായ രചനകളാണ് ലീലാകൃഷ്ണന്റേത്. മനസ്സിന്റെ ആര്‍ദ്രതയെ സ്പര്‍ശിക്കുന്ന രചനശൈലിക്കുടമ. വള്ളുവനാടന്‍ പൂരക്കാഴ്ചകള്‍, നിളയുടെ തീരങ്ങളിലൂടെ, വിഷു കഴിഞ്ഞ പാടങ്ങള്‍, താത്രിക്കുട്ടിയുടെ സ്മാര്‍ത്താവിചാരങ്ങള്‍, പിയുടെ പ്രണയപാപങ്ങള്‍ തുടങ്ങിയ കൃതികള്‍ രചിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ട്. തിളക്കം, ഏകാന്തം, കാവ്യം എന്നീ സിനിമകളുട കഥയും തിരക്കഥയും. പതിനഞ്ചോളം സിനിമകള്‍ക്ക് ഗാനരചന നിര്‍വ്വഹിച്ചു. പി.ഭാസ്‌കരന്‍ കവിതാപുരസ്‌കാരം, കാമ്പിശ്ശേരി പുരസ്‌കാരം, പ്രേംജി പുരസ്‌കാരം തുടങ്ങിയ അംഗീകാരങ്ങള്‍ നേടിയിട്ടുണ്ട്.
