RETHISH RAVI
Rethish Ravi is a celebrated caricaturist from Kochi with over two decades of experience in caricature, cartooning, painting, and design, and a strong national and international presence. A recipient of the Kerala Lalithakala Akademi Award and international honours including the Caricaturama Showdown 3000, he was Director of the national cartoon festival CariToon 2024. He is also a leading Malayalam book cover illustrator and typographer, known for his expressive, narrative-driven visual style.
കാരിക്കേച്ചര്, കാര്ട്ടൂണ്, ചിത്രകല, ഡിസൈന് എന്നീ മേഖലകളില് രണ്ട് പതിറ്റാണ്ടിലേറെ പ്രവര്ത്തനപരിചയമുള്ള കൊച്ചി സ്വദേശിയായ രതീഷ് രവി, ദേശീയ-അന്തര്ദേശീയ തലങ്ങളില് ശ്രദ്ധേയനായ കലാകാരനാണ്. കേരള ലളിതകലാ അക്കാദമി അവാര്ഡ്, രാജ്യാന്തര തലത്തിലെ 'Caricaturama Showdown 3000’' ഉള്പ്പെടെ നിരവധി പുരസ്കാരങ്ങള് അദ്ദേഹത്തിന് ലഭിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ട്. 2024-ല് നടന്ന ദേശീയ കാര്ട്ടൂണ് മേളയായ 'കാരിടൂണ്'-ന്റെ ഫെസ്റ്റിവല് ഡയറക്ടറായും അദ്ദേഹം സേവനമനുഷ്ഠിച്ചു.
